Abstract
Maduromycosis due to Allescheria boydii is rare in the United States. To our knowledge, we have observed the first such infection in a woman of childbearing age. A remarkable feature of this case is the presence of cyclic remissions and exacerbations which appears to be related to the menstrual cycles and to pregnancy.
