JAMA. 1968;205(13):924-925.
Abstract
Thiothixene is an antipsychotic agent that is sometimes effective in the management of hospitalized patients with chronic schizophrenic reactions. Restlessness, insomnia, and extrapyramidal symptoms are the most common adverse reactions from the use of thiothixene and are most likely to occur when large doses are used.
