Multiple Aneurysms of the Abdominal Aorta

S. Osher Pais, MD; Robert Steiner, MD; Jerry L. Rosenbaum, MD; Constantin Cope, MD

JAMA. 1968;206(12):2737-2739.

Abstract

A patient had multiple aneurysms of the branches of the abdominal aorta. To our knowledge, this is the first case of this condition to be reported. This may be a different entity from most previously described aneurysms, or it may reflect the fact that angiograms are infrequently done on asymptomatic patients. The prognosis in this case may be better than that indicated in the literature.
