Abstract
An arteriovenous shunt has now been functioning three years with the use of one radial artery and multiple revisions along the cephalic vein. Retrograde cannulation of the cephalic vein has materially added to the survival of this shunt. We describe the technique here in hope that it will be useful to others presented with the same problem.
