Corticosteroid-Induced Glaucoma and Cataracts in Contact Lens Wearers

Abstract

The indiscriminate topical application of corticosteroids to the eyes of two young patients induced cataracts and glaucoma with permanent visual defects. Individuals with a high degree of myopia and family history of glaucoma are more susceptible than others to this condition.
