A Year in Mayo, Florida

Abstract
The College of Medicine of the University of Florida has initiated and sustained a health center in an isolated rural area. This rural health center is now an important educational resource for medical and nursing students. It also serves the university by providing a community laboratory for the study of health problems in a rural area.
