Methyldopa-Induced Submassive Hepatic Necrosis

Abstract
A 51-year-old woman developed jaundice after two separate administrations of methyldopa. The second administration resulted in submassive hepatic necrosis. This unfortunate fatality resulted from a reaction that, as heretofore reported, has been less severe with this particular drug.
