Abstract
Twenty-three patients with a variety of intrascrotal lesions were studied by means of imaging after the intravenous injection of sodium pertechnetate Tc 99m. The features of the radionuclide image correlated well with the clinical course or findings at surgical exploration or both. The conditions in which this technique was helpful in diagnosis included testicular torsion, acute inflammatory lesions, abscess, and hematoma.
