Occurrence in an 1-Antitrypsin-Deficient Adult

Abstract
An elderly woman manifested both pulmonary and hepatic disease secondary to ₁-antitrypsin deficiency. The liver biopsy specimen showed the characteristic findings of this condition, most importantly, the presence of PAS-positive, diastase-resistant intracytoplasmic inclusions.
