Two patients experienced endogenous Candida endophthalmitis after
childbirth. One case was successfully treated with vitrectomy and
intravitreal injection of amphotericin B. Although rare, Candida
endophthalmitis must be included in the differential diagnosis in the
postpartum patient with visual symptoms.
