Common bile duct obstruction and cholangiohepatitis in clonorchiasis

This report describes a patient with common bile duct obstruction and
cholangiohepatitis. Patients with clonorchiasis are usually asymptomatic
and treatment is limited to complications. Treatment consists of
cholecystectomy, choledochotomy, and T-tube drainage. A bypass procedure is
indicated in cases of heavy infestation and recurrent disease.
