Abstract
Unilateral leg edema is a frequent clinical problem, usually reflecting underlying vascular disease. This article describes an uncommon cause of this presentation, malignant lymphoma, in ten cases. In three of these patients, the diagnosis of lymphoma was overlooked during the initial presentation, and appropriate therapy not given at that time. In view of the need for early diagnosis and specific therapy of lymphoma, this entity should be considered in the differential diagnosis in patients with unilateral leg edema.
