Family Practice Undergraduate Education

Gordon S. Walbroehl, MD; Albert F. Painter, MS; John C. Gillen, MD

JAMA. 1981;245(15):1552-1553.

Abstract

A survey conducted by the Wright State University School of Medicine indicates that family practice has become a fully integrated curriculum component in the majority of US medical schools. Results indicate that family practice courses are offered most often as outpatient experiences and are taught by both full-time and volunteer faculty.
