Abstract
While sophisticated bibliographic literature retrieval systems have been developed and are widely used in large medical libraries, they are not always readily accessible, and therefore useful, to the physician in practice, especially in rural areas. The Tucson (Ariz) Medical Center library has developed a technique, Simultaneous Remote Search, that should enable any interested physician to obtain on-site delivery of individualized, relevant bibliographic literature searches at reasonable cost.
