A disturbing observation is the recent increase in the use of LSD and other
hallucinogens by younger adolescents. Almost 90% of high school seniors in
1992 reported some experience with alcohol in the past. In 1991, some of
the highest rates of gonorrhea were among adolescents aged 15 to 19 years.
