Image analysis and flow cytometry are complementary methods in assessing the DNA content and proliferative capacity of a tumor. In prostatic adenocarcinomas, DNA aneuploidy is associated with poor outcome. The current 21 days for identification of mycobacteria and 28 days for susceptibility testing should be reduced in the coming years.
