SUPPORTERS of an innovative project intended to provide comprehensive treatment and services for chronically ill patients near the end of life are looking for clinical sites to demonstrate and evaluate the costs and efficacy of the program.
The Center to Improve Care of the Dying at George Washington University Medical Center and Americans for Better Care of the Dying (ABCD), both in Washington, DC, are in the process of recruiting 10 to 18 hospices, large group practices, or other health care provider sites around the country that are willing and able to participate in the MediCaring National Demonstration and Evaluation Project.
