The FDA is leading a public- and private-sector collaboration to provide health professionals with important public health information through the broadcasting of an educational teleconference entitled, "Natural Rubber/Latex Allergy: Recognition, Treatment, and Prevention," on May 5, 1998, from 1:00 PM to 4:15 PM EST. Physicians and other health care professionals can register prior to the satellite broadcast and receive continuing education credit from the American Medical Association and certain other organizations for a nominal fee. Additional program information, including how to register and view the broadcast, is available on the Internet at http://latex.fdli.org.
