New FDA Web Site for Health Care Professionals

JAMA. 1998;280:1817.

Since this article does not have an abstract, we have provided the first 104 words of the full text and any section headings.

The FDA Office of Health Affairs, the agency's focal point for working with health professional organizations and the human subject protection community, has established a home page on the agency's Web site with information and links of special interest to health professionals. Links are provided for subjects such as the latest safety information from MEDWATCH, the agency's medical product reporting program; up-to-date information on advisory committee meetings; and information sheets with guidance to institutional review boards (IRBs) and clinical investigators. Located at http://www.fda.gov/oc/oha/, it also provides certain key agency telephone numbers for health professionals.
