JAMA. 1999;281:408.

Since this article does not have an abstract, we have provided the first 126 words of the full text and any section headings.

MEDWATCH, the FDA Medical Products Reporting Program, relies on reports from health care professionals and industry of adverse events and problems suspected to be associated with medical products. Physicians can now use the MEDWATCH Web site (http://www.fda.gov/medwatch) not only to obtain the latest safety information on products, but also to complete, print, and submit the voluntary adverse event/product problem reporting form online through the Web. To access the interactive form, they should either click on "Click here to report online" under "How to Report" or click on the hyperlink adjacent to "By Internet" under "Reporting by Health Professionals"; instructions designed to assist completion and submission of the form are readily available on the Web site.
