  • Mark R. Lee, MD, chief of the pediatric neurosurgery service at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, has been named chief of the Section of Neurosurgery.
  • Paul A. Marks, MD, who has retired as president of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, has been honored with the creation of the Paul Marks Award for Excellence in Cancer Research and Care. He has also been named president emeritus of the institution.
  • David C. Hess, MD, associate professor of neurology at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) and executive for the Neurosciences Service Line at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, has been named interim chair of the MCG Department of Neurology.
