The 2 previous Resident Physician Forum columns introduced some of the winners of the American Medical Association's Foundation Leadership Award Program, which recognizes resident and fellow physicians who have demonstrated leadership in medical arenas, civic organizations, and community service organizations. The remaining winners are presented below.
Nova Law, MD, served on the University of Michigan's Council of Medical Students and Council of Graduate Students. She has also served as chapter president of Delta Sigma Theta, a service sorority and currently is involved in several community service projects. Dr Law is a family medicine resident at the University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jeffrey C. Lederman, DO, was president of his medical school class for 3 years and founded a student chapter of the American Geriatric Society.
