- Anne Eiting Klamar, MD, has been named president of Midmark Corporation, a manufacturer of office-based medical and dental equipment in Versailles, Ohio. She is the fourth generation of her family to hold the position.
- Harold E. Jervey, Jr, MD, of Columbia, SC, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Federation of State Medical Boards of the United States Inc (FSMB). The award recognizes his accomplishments and contributions as a long-time general practitioner in Columbia and a member and officer of the FSMB.
- Robert Folberg, MD, has become professor and chair of the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. He was formerly at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, where he was director of the F. C. Blodi Eye Pathology Laboratory.
