• David A. Lee, MD, has been appointed chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and professor of ophthalmology at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey.
  
• Gregory Rouan, MD, associate director for educational affairs in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio, has received the American College of Physicians Master Teacher Award.
  
• Eric J. Nestler, MD, DPharm, has been appointed chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Now the first holder of the Lou and Ellen McGinley Distinguished Chair in Psychiatric Research, he was formerly director of molecular psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine.
