  • Robert D. Fry, MD, chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and Marks Professor of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa, has been elected president of the American College of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He succeeds John M. MacKeigan, MD, of Grand Rapids, Mich. President-elect is Richard P. Billingham, MD, who is in practice in Seattle, Wash, and a clinical professor in the Department of Surgery at University of Washington School of Medicine.
