  • Guy L. Clifton, MD, who is Runnells Distinguished Chair and Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, University of Texas Medical School at Houston, has been named director of Mission Connect, an initiative to conduct research in central nervous system injuries, diseases, and disorders.
  • Claus Roehrborn, MD, has been appointed chair of urology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, succeeding John McConnell, MD, who was named executive vice president for administration at the institution last year. Roehrborn will also hold the E. E. Fogelson and Greer Garson Fogelson Distinguished Chair in Urology.
  • Edward Grant, MD, has been named head of the Department of Radiology at the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles. He was formerly chair of radiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, Medical Center.
