Uninsured Worker Rate Rises

Brian Vastag

JAMA. 2002;288:823.

Since this article does not have an abstract, we have provided the first 56 words of the full text and any section headings.

Data from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) show that among persons in the United States earning between $10 and $15 per hour, the likelihood of being uninsured increased from 10.6% in 1996 to 12.9% in 2000. The data come from the AHRQ's Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (available online at http://www.ahrq.gov).
