To the Editor: The results of the study by Dr DAmico and colleagues1 regarding the survival benefit of combining androgen suppression therapy and radiation therapy for treatment of localized prostate cancer seem to include a discrepancy. The text notes 6 deaths due to prostate cancer in the 3-dimensional conformal radiation therapy group; however, the graph and related data in Figure 3 appear to indicate only 4 prostate cancer deaths.
