FDA Offices in China

Following a string of serious safety problems with Chinese food and medical products, the US Department of Health and Human Services has established 3 US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) offices in China to facilitate better safety monitoring.

According to an announcement by the agency, the 3 FDA offices will be located in the US Embassy in Beijing, the US Consulate General in Guangzhou, and in a Shanghai business complex with other US agencies. The agency also plans to eventually establish offices in India, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
