In the report, "Racial/Ethnic Differences in the Birth Prevalence of Spina Bifida—United States, 1995-2005," an error occurred in the second sentence of the Editorial Note. The sentence should have read: "The previous study revealed that from October 1995–December 1996 (before the folic acid fortification mandate) to October 1998–December 1999 (after the January 1998 mandate deadline), the prevalence of spina bifida decreased from 2.62 to 2.02 per 10,000 live births, a decrease of 22.9%.³"
