Peripheral Nerve Blocks is a multiauthored book of 496 pages with contributions from 67 experts, 15 from outside the United States. The book is divided into 7 main sections: "General Concepts" (4 chapters), "Single-Injection Peripheral Blocks" (19 chapters), "Continuous Nerve Blocks" (8 chapters), "Ultrasound" (12 chapters), "Pediatric Peripheral Blocks" (12 chapters), "Continuous Nerve Blocks in Infants and Children" (5 chapters), and "Pain Blocks" (12 chapters). The chapters provide an overview of nerve block techniques and cover almost completely the large field of peripheral regional anesthesia (PRA) and pain medicine procedures. The entire text content and all of the images are fully searchable on an interactive Web site.
