Since its first edition was published more than 40 years ago, Danforth's Obstetrics and Gynecology has been one of the standard textbooks for students, residents, and practitioners in the specialty. Over the years, the editors have recruited experts in the subject matter of the discipline to provide both basic and updated reviews of important material. Since my last review of this textbook about 5 years ago, there have been substantial changes. The 10th edition has a new editor and many new contributors as well as a new feature that allows it to compete in the increasing market for online reference material. . . .
