Unclear Language: In the Original Contribution entitled "Empirical Validation of Guidelines for the Management of Pharyngitis in Children and Adults" published in the April 7, 2004, issue of JAMA (2004;291:1587-1595), there was a discrepancy between the language used in the text and that used in a text box. In the Box on page 1589, all instances of "Centor score" should have read "modified Centor score."
