Aspirin for the Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Events in Women and Men: A Sex-Specific Meta-analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials—Correction

JAMA. 2006;295:2002.

Incorrect Numbers of Events: In the Review entitled "Aspirin for the Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Events in Women and Men: A Sex-Specific Meta-analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials" published in the January 18, 2006, issue of JAMA (2006;295:306-313), the wrong numbers of events appeared in Figure 3; the corrected Figure 3 appears below. On page 309, in the first column, in the second full paragraph, the first sentence should have been "Among 44 114 men, there were 1023 MIs." On page 311, in Figure 5, under "Men, BDT,15 1988," it should be 20/3429 for the aspirin group.
