In the Original Contribution entitled "Cardiac Auscultatory Skills of Internal Medicine and Family Practice Trainees," published in the September 3, 1997, issue of THE JOURNAL (1997;278:717-722), the acknowledgment is incorrect. Funding for the auscultatory project was provided solely by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr Mangione also received support from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health, but it was exclusively for an Asthma Academic Award.
