In chapter 17 of the Primer on Allergic and Immunologic Diseases entitled "Immunopathogenesis of Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Diseases," published in the December 10, 1997, issue of THE JOURNAL (1997;278:1946-1955), an error occurred in Table 17-2 on page 1952. In the footnotes to the table, the expansion for the abbreviation AIH should have been autoimmune hepatitis.
