In the Original Contribution entitled "Population Estimates of Household Firearm Storage Practices and Firearm Carrying in Oregon," published in the June 12, 1996, issue of THE JOURNAL (1996;265:1744-1748), incorrect wording was used. The first sentence of the third paragraph of page 1745 should read, "Data were combined for both years (except for questions only asked during 1 year) and weighted to produce statewide estimates based on the age and race [not age, race, and sex] distribution of Oregon's adult population."
