In the article entitled "Reporting of Randomized Clinical Trial Descriptors and Use of Structured Abstracts," published in the July 15, 1998, Peer Review theme issue of THE JOURNAL (1998;280:269-272), an error was made in the reference list. On page 272, the second reference 9 should be deleted.
