Incorrect Number

JAMA. 1999;281:1893.

In the Original Contribution entitled "Early Health Effects of the Emerging Tobacco Epidemic in China: A 16-Year Prospective Study" published in the November 12, 1997, issue of THE JOURNAL (1997;278:1500-1504), an incorrect number appeared in the abstract. In the fifth line under "Results," the number 22 in the confidence interval should be 2.2.
