Incorrect Spelling

JAMA. 2001;286:170.

In the Original Contribution entitled "Effectiveness of St John's Wort in Major Depression: A Randomized Controlled Trial" published in the April 18, 2001, issue of THE JOURNAL (2001;285:1978-1986), an author's name was misspelled. On page 1978, Paul Crits-Cristoph, PhD, should have been Paul Crits-Christoph, PhD. On page 1985 in the Author Affiliations, his affiliation should have been "Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia (Drs Crits-Christoph and Gallop)." Also on page 1985, in the Author Contributions, Crits-Christoph should appear after the headings "Study Concept and Design, Acquisition of Data, Analysis and Interpretation of Data, Drafting of the Manuscript, Critical Revision of the Manuscript for Important Intellectual Content, Statistical Expertise, Administrative, Technical, or Material Support, and Study Supervision."
