Risk Factors for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Among Northern Plains Indians—Correction

JAMA. 2003;289:303.

Incorrect Wording. In the Original Contribution entitled "Risk Factors for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Among Northern Plains Indians" published in the December 4, 2002, issue of THE JOURNAL, there was incorrect wording. In the "Comment" section on page 2721, the first sentence of the second paragraph should have read as follows: Infants in homes that had any visit by a PHN before or after birth were one-fifth as likely to die of SIDS as those in homes that were never visited.
