Incorrect Statement in: Ginkgo biloba for Prevention of Dementia: A Randomized Controlled Trial

JAMA. 2008;300(23):2730.

Incorrect Statement: In the Original Contribution by DeKosky et al titled "Ginkgo biloba for Prevention of Dementia: A Randomized Controlled Trial," published in the November 19, 2008, issue of JAMA (2008;300[19]:2253-2262), sales of G biloba in the United States needed clarification. On page 2254 in the first column, the first full sentence should have read as follows: "In 1999 (when the study was initiated), total US sales of G biloba exceeded $249 million.5"
