In "External Cephalic Version With Anesthesia" by Bonnar and others (205:97, 1968) a conundrum appears in the third paragraph on page 101:
In the presence of minor degrees of pelvic contraction or an abnormally large baby, vaginal delivery will entail a high perinatal mortality and morbidity unless elective abdominal delivery is performed.
This sentence is typical of the editing of the article which would have profited by a 25% reduction in volume.
