One of the surer indications that the generation gap is a reality lies in the events that are planned for next week. Whereas the children of 30 years ago could revel in the phantasy (and fantastic) moon-life of a Buck Rogers or a Flash Gordon, today's children have to be satisfied with the real thing. On Christmas Eve, if all goes as we sincerely hope it does, three very real earth men will be orbiting the moon, a scant 70 miles from the site of the exploits of Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon. With yesterday's phantasies become facts, where do today's children search for make-believe?
But even when faced with fact, phantasy dies hard, and especially so for those on the far side of the generation gap. Ever since the Americans made their first moon bull's eye in the Crater Alphonsus not too many years ago, it has been difficult
