To the Editor.—
May I call your attention to a substitute x-ray film viewing box in the form of an ordinary television set? By placing an x-ray film in front of the television screen and adjusting a channel selector not quite fully locked, a bright fluorescent light is projected through the film when the power is turned on. Intensity of the light may be further enhanced by adjusting the dial controlling brightness. The only contraindication is when little Johnny is watching his favorite program.
