To the Editor.—
Was it not Sydenham rather than Osler who coined my title?
With only a step separating the sublime from the ridiculous, the art that can immortalize the shaving of an egg as a sort of tired metaphor gives my soul that elbow room that here in Hawaii I boil at a degree different from that of fools and madmen trying to tell the truth.
Is there no limit to this fever for letter writing to editors?
