In case you have not noticed, THE JOURNAL is changing. With this issue the most evident transformation is in the "fully bled" cover photograph and new JAMA logo. Lest the aficionados of the classic art covers become alarmed, we plan to vary the cover format, displaying various art forms in different configurations: paintings, photographs, sculpture, architecture, tapestries.... Art from all corners of the earth will illuminate our cover. As always, this will remain under the critical eye of Senior Editor George L. Fite.
But inside is where the significant action is. Aside from a switching of heading type style to a clean, uncluttered new font and improving the style and color of our graphics, you will notice several of our new features.
