To the Editor.—

Time magazine's report (April 28,1975, p 78) of my paper (231:826, 1975) contained inaccuracies that confused those reading both publications. Three points must be made to set the record straight: (1) The stain was devised as an overall stain for urinary sediments. (2) Our experience with malignant neoplasia was incidental and so far has been limited to 12 cases.
