To the Editor.—
I recently encountered a case of gastrie candidiasis in a stitch ulcer (240:2181, 1978). This occurred six months ago with successful removal of the suture material. The patient was treated with nystatin. The patient was cured of the candidiasis invasion.
My patient was not immunosuppressed nor was there any evidence of carcinoma.
