All, surprisingly, have been among the thousands of topics addressed in the QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS column of THE JOURNAL. Since the column began in September 1902 as QUERIES AND MINOR NOTES, it has regularly served physicians both in the United States and overseas as a source of information on myriad topics. Such international interest is evidenced by the inquiries we receive from physicians around the globe, and the regular publication of excerpts from the QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS section in several of the foreign language editions of THE JOURNAL.
